4. EFTELING
Perhaps the biggest attraction at Holland’s largest theme park, Efteling, is the Fairytale Forest, home to 29 fairytale characters (the newest being Pinocchio), as well as the much-loved Fairytale Tree, whose branches and leaves flutter in the wind as it tells stories (and it’s learning English). Open year-round, Efteling offers some spectacular shows and a bunch of roller-coasters. You can also stay the night. efteling.com
5. CANAL CRUISE
You can’t go to Amsterdam and not take a boat ride on its famed canals. It’s also an eco-friendly way to take in all the sights. Blue Boat Tours is one of the best, and they even have a Hard Rock Burger Cruise. blueboat.nl
