Cherry Blossom Festival (Hanami)
Who said you have to go to Japan to see cherry blossoms? Los Angeles plays host to beautiful blossoms too. From the boisterous and flamboyant jacarandas to bright and gay California poppies, the City of Angels has it all. But before the jacaranda trees bloom and the California poppies begin to flower, Los Angeles greets the springtime with the cherry blossom festival season! The blooming of these blossoms means that it’s time to celebrate the Japanese culture of viewing the pretty foliage at a leisurely pace and finding magic in nature. Several gardens host cherry blossom viewing festivals, also known as Hanami. Guided walks are available at the popular Descanso Gardens all through March.
Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles
Keep your dates free from April 11-15, 2018. The 16th annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles has lifted the curtain on the lineup of their festival next month and it looks stupendous! The five-day fest will once again bridge the gap between the two largest entertainment industries in the world–Hollywood and the Indian film industry. The 2018 festival boasts of 12 films in 12 different languages, narrative and documentary features, and shorts. The festival will also hold a memorial tribute to the late actor Sridevi by screening her 1989 hit Chandni.

How to get to Los Angeles from India
There are umpteen daily flights from major Indian cities but none non-stop yet. However, Air India plans to launch a non-stop from Delhi to Los Angeles soon. There are Air India non-stops to other US cities such as New York, Chicago and San Francisco from Delhi.
