February brings with it a sizeable number of art festivals to keep you engaged. Begin by turning your sight to the city of Kolkata, which is all set to transform into an art gallery. The second edition of CIMA Awards-Kolkata Art Festival, a biennale event supported by Art & Heritage Foundation (AHF) and partnered by Centre of International Modern Art (CIMA), will be a month-long feast of visual arts that will commence with the award ceremony on February 4. Along with art galleries, collateral events will be held in heritage structures of the city (cimaawards.in). And then there’s the India Art Fair, which will take place in New Delhi from February 2 to 5. Regarded as South Asia’s leading platform for modern and contemporary art, it’s now in its 10th edition. The speakers’ forum this time includes Richard Armstrong of The Guggenheim and Manuel Rabaté of Louvre Abu Dhabi. Tickets from 499 per day; indiaartfair.in
