There is always some festivity going on in Goa. This time it’s Poderachem Fest—a festival dedicated to the craft of bread-making. During this festival, bakers from all over Goa will come together to showcase their baked goods. We all know the famous pav or pao, a Goan delight which has gone beyond the Goan borders and now has become an important part of many food cultures across India. The unique festival will also see parades and cultural evenings as well as an exhibition of the various types of breads produced in Goa. The venue for this will be the church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour in Socorro Village. The fest will be held from October 1 to October 3.
