When you’re at the gift shop of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, it’s easy to get carried away. There is just so much creative merchandise in there that appeals to someone who loves the unique, vigorous brush strokes of the master. After much thought, I decided to buy a poster of The Bedroom and a pack of brushes, and reluctantly let go of the coffee mugs. But this magic cube was a no-brainer. The puzzle can be played around with to reveal eight of Van Gogh’s famous paintings, namely The Harvest, Wheatfield with Crows, The Yellow House, Self-Portrait with Felt Hat, Sunflowers, The Bedroom, Almond Blossom, View of Auvers and Boats at Saint-Maries. For € 8.95, I now have eight classic paintings by one of the most influential post-impressionist painters making up a stress-buster at my desk!
