Heart of Arkness

My uncle went to Africa, and all I got was this completely gorgeous Animal Puzzle. It’s made by Makoulpa, the South African firm that specialises in wildlife related products in pewter, silver, gold and glass. Each piece is a beautifully crafted pewter animal; all of them fit together to form the shape of the African continent—including a little lemur representing Madagascar; and they can be worn as pendants with the chain that comes with the whole. It comes in a velvet-lined wooden box with a booklet explaining each figure. Cost? Fine jewellers don’t put prices on their products…
