OT: Favourite hotel in the world?
Salman Khan: Anywhere I feel wanted. And I feel
OT: Last visited?
Salman Khan: Fairly recently. Every time I go to London I always stay there.
OT: The experience?
Salman Khan: Always of being pampered and spoilt for choice. I stay here because anything I ask for, I am allowed. Whether it is to open their gym at an unearthly hour, or organise an elaborate Eid party. I remember that when we were shooting for London Dreams, Eid fell in the middle of our schedule and I was missing the celebrations at home. I mentioned this to somebody from the hotel and they organised the most magnificent Eid party for our film crew.
The menu was delicious. There were all kinds of Eid delicacies including mutton biryani, nawabi biryani, mutton korma, all kinds of kababs and kheer, sheer korma and seviyan for dessert. Ajay [Devgan] also mentioned that it was one of the best Eid spreads he had had outside of India.
OT: The USP?
Salman Khan: Its hospitality and ability to make me feel at home. My profession demands that I live out of a suitcase, so if a hotel can remind me of the warmth of my home, it’s an achievement. Also, the location. It is steps away from St James Park and Buckingham Palace. I also like the garden in their courtyard and the landscaping is stunning. And no matter what time of the year I visit, the garden is always in full bloom.
