Rani Mukerji: The Taj Exotica Resort and Spa ( style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #006621;">www.tajhotels.com) in Mauritius. It was the best holiday I’ve had in years. Mainly because apart from travelling for shoots, I hadn’t had a real holiday till I went to Mauritius. And the combination of no work, going with family and friends, and having fun all added up to make it a memorable stay.
Rani Mukerji: It was beautifully relaxed. My room faced the swimming pool and beyond that was the sea — the whole visual effect was unbelievably beautiful. Travelling to Mauritius and anything to do with the sea is superb and the hotel manages to make the most of it. The way it is situated, facing the sea, is immensely pleasurable.
Rani Mukerji: I went in May last year for a week.
Rani Mukerji: Oh, there was Indian, Thai, Chinese, Continental and a blend of Mauritian and Indian. I like the Indian food best and then the Thai and Italian.
Rani Mukerji: The spa! One has to experience the luxuriousness of being free and then relaxing in the spa.
Rani Mukerji: Yes, of course, as soon as I get some free time
