The first edition of Travel Photo Jaipur will take place from Feb 5-14, 2016. Dubbed ‘a festival of wanderlust’, the exhibitions and events are expected to draw a large number of visitors. Besides the 14 exhibitions, there will be a series of talks and three special interventions to augment the festival and to approach the subject of photography from all aspects. The venues for both the exhibitions and the events are primarily Hawa Mahal, Jawahar Kala Kendra and Albert Hall Museum. The speakers, experts in their own fields, are coming from Japan, US, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Guatemala, etc. BIND will be curetting a selection of photobooks around the theme of travel, mixing seminal works from the history of photography in India and worldwide along with contemporary publications.
