Embarking on a unique journey for Indians only, The Q Experiences, founded by Vasim Shaikh, will be taking a 200-people luxury cruise to the white continent Antarctica. The 11-day cruise will start from Ushuaia, the capital of Terra del Fuego, Argentina on December 9, 2017. Aboard the Great Majestic Explorer, passengers can take their pick from 132 elegant staterooms and suites designed by French interior designer Jean Philippe Nuel.

The 460-feet long yacht will also be flying the Indian flag and there will be an Indian Michelin-star chef on board. Chef Atul Kochhar has plans to offer an extensive regional menu for those who wish to eat Indian cuisine. The on-board catering will be taken care of by Alain Ducasse Enterpise. Alain Ducasse holds 21 Michelin stars. Experts and guides on Antarctica will help the passengers along the way. There will be themed buffets and live music.

The cruise will go through the glaciers of Neko Bay and Paradise Bay, anchor at Port Lockroy, sail to the largest colony of Chinstrap penguins at Deception Island and take guests to the quietest place of earth—Weddell Sea. Shaikh says, “We want Indians to experience this once-in-a-lifetime trip. Till now, only 200 Indians have gone to Antarctica but this time we hope to have a full cruise of 200 Indians to see the ‘white continent’. At The Q Experiences we believe in creating great travel stories through personalised luxurious experiences.”
