Here’s a sniff of what’s in store: the Legacy cocktail featuring the rare 1788 Clos de Griffier Vieux Cognac ($21,000 for a 40ml shot) at the Playboy Club in London; selections from the $565,000 Armand de Brignac Dynastie champagne collection in Monaco; a hearty swig of the Vieille Bon Secours, one of the world’s most expensive beers; a bottle of Egon Muller, an elusive Riesling, and a private tour of the Mosel factory in Frankfurt; a $24,000 bottle of Henri Jayer Richebourg Grand Cru ’78 at Lyon; and a $13,000 Winston at Crown Melbourne’s Club 23, the world’s most expensive cocktail, its main ingredient being the 1858 Croizet Cuvee Leonie purportedly drunk by Churchill and Eisenhower while planning D-Day.
