The busiest railway station in India, New Delhi Railway Station, has now launched Wi-Fi service. Passengers can now access Wi-Fi internet on all the 16 platforms.  Users will have to register on the Wi-Fi network through their mobile. The service will be free of cost for the first 30 minutes. After that users will have to buy scratch cards starting from Rs 25 for the next 30 minutes and Rs 35 for an hour’s usage. Wi-Fi users can buy the cards at information desks at Paharganj and Ajmeri Gate sides of the railway station.

Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu said, “Wi-Fi should not be limited to only a few people but should be available to common people also. We are trying to provide this facility to more and more stations as soon as possible. We are finalising an action plan for this and besides stations, we will provide it on trains as well.”
