Hong Kong’s skyline got a little more crowded with the Observation Wheel opening on the city’s central harbourfront. The 60-metre high giant Ferris wheel has 42 luxury gondolas – each equipped with air-conditioners (for the summer) and heating systems (for the winter) and Wi-Fi. Each gondola can accommodate up to 8 passengers and a single trip will take 15-20 minutes. It will be open throughout the year from 11am to 11pm. The Hong Kong Observation Wheel is in close proximity to public transfer facilities including the Outlying Island’s ferry piers, the Star ferry, Exchange Square’s bus and minibus interchange and Hong Kong MTR Station. So, don’t forget to add this new attraction to your itinerary when you’re planning a trip to Hong Kong. Tickets start from HK$100 for adults.
