Bus travel between India and Bangladesh enhanced

Bus connectivity between India and Bangladesh expands with the introduction of two new routes: Kolkata-Dhaka-Agartala and Guwahati-Shillong-Dhaka. The governments of Tripura and West Bengal will run a bus each on the Kolkata-Dhaka-Agartala route while the Bangladesh government will run the solo bus on the Guwahati-Shillong-Dhaka route. Separate bus services have been operating between Dhaka-Kolkata and Dhaka-Agartala for sometime now.
