Bengaluru airport introduces IVRS

Passengers travelling through KempeGowda International Airport, Bengaluru will now be able to avail a custom-developed voice portal and interactive voice response system (IVRS) by dialling the toll free number 1800 425 4425. The IVRS will automatically fetch flight data and information and relay the same to the caller in English, Hindi and Kannada. For information beyond the scope of the IVRS, the call will be transferred to the airlines’ helpdesk for further details. In case a query is raised by a caller post an airline helpdesk’s working hours, the call will be transferred or an “office closed” message will be played. The IVRS service is in addition to the airport website and the Whatsapp service (+91 888 499 8888).
