Between April 21-30, Hotel Marine Plaza in Mumbai is hosting a ‘North African Food Festival’ at Bayview. Guests can savour Maghreb delights such as the rich Moroccan tagines, Tunisia’s harissa-spiced dishes. Maghreb cuisine is from the northwestern part of Africa along the Mediterranean Sea, the region consisting of Morocco, Libya and Tunisia. Chef Waleed Bousnina has been invited from Goa to host this festival and there will be a different buffet each night for dinner. To cite some dishes that find their way into the buffet, soups such as Moroccan harira with chickpeas noodle, Mutton Tunisian oats; starters include cheese and mint briwat, veg mini Moroccan pie, and more.
