Instagrammers We Like: Michael Christopher Brown

The Los Angeles-based photojournalist Michael Christopher Brown (@michaelchristopherbrown) is best known for Libyan Sugar, a book that features phone camera pictures portraying scenes from the 2011 Libyan Revolution. Between 2012 and 2017, his documentary photography had him shunt between Africa, America and Cuba. While his photographs are sociopolitical in nature, their vibrant tone and conceptual framing makes them stand out.

most of the thousands of protesters were peaceful on inauguration day. a small group caused various damage to property downtown, burning a limo, smashing windows of shops, etc
