Every year, the festival of Durga Puja sees a plethora of unique rituals performed over a course of five days. From Kolparombho on the sixth day of the pujo to the holi-like Sindoor Khela on the last day and of course the intriguing Kola Bou Snan which revolves around a young banana tree being dressed up as a bride of the Lord Ganesha  on the seventh day—each ritual is laden with history and meaning.
