At over 828 metres (2,716.5 feet) and more than 160 stories high, Burj Khalifa (burjkhalifa.ae) in Dubai holds many records, including the world’s tallest building. Now you can also be part of the record by hitching a ride on the building’s elevator to the world’s highest outdoor observation deck. Listen to special soundtracks as you ride the elevator (as you might have guessed, it’s the longest elevator journey in the world) with the rhythm and beats rising to a crescendo as the elevators ascend to their destination. You have two options. You can either go to ‘At the Top,’ the 124th and 125th stories, or go further up to the Sky deck, the world’s highest observation deck, at the 148th story. There’s a lounge at the Sky deck that offers complimentary refreshments. For the first option, the non-prime hours are 8.30am – 3pm and 6.30pm to closing time and the prime hours are 3.30pm – 6pm

Tickets can be booked online and the prices will vary depending on the options and hours. For At the Top, adults (12+) are charged AED 125 and children (4-12 years), AED 95 for General Admission during non-prime hours. Prime time general admission is AED 200 for adults and AED 160 for children, respectively. For immediate admission during prime time, it is AED 300 for both categories. For At the Top and Sky options, for both adult and child categories, the admission rate is AED 350 during non-prime hours and AED 500 during prime hours. Final entry will be 45 minutes before closing hour.
