Join the 10th anniversary celebrations of the Enchanted Woodland in Syon’s Park, London, if you are there now or visiting in the next few weeks. It is being held from November 20-December 6, 2015 (over Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only). The London home of the Duke of Northumberland, whose family have lived here for over 400 years, Syon House and its 200 acre park, nearly 16km (10 miles) from Central London, is an area of supreme natural beauty. An illuminated trail will be laid out through the Capability Brown gardens and historic arboretum, round the ornamental lake ending at the spectacular Great Conservatory. Do not forget your warm clothes and walking shoes as you take an atmospheric walk in the wintry evenings. Doors open at 5pm, last entry at 8pm and lights off by 9pm.
