Bikaner Camel Fair

Organised by Rajasthan Tourism, the Camel Fair of Bikaner attracts visitors from home and abroad. The festival will be held from January 9-10, 2016. The festival begins with a procession of decorated camels; the procession starts from Junagarh (Old Fort). During the two days of the festival, you will see camel beauty pageants, camel races, tug-of-war, etc. Stalls selling accessories to decorate the camels enjoy a brisk business. In the evening, the arena breaks into a dazzling show of cultural performances and fireworks.
