OT: Which is your favourite hotel in the world?

Unmukt Chand: I visited the Trident, Nariman Point in Mumbai (from Rs 6,250, tridenthotels.com) last November for about three days and really liked the hotel.

OT: What made your stay satisfying?

Unmukt Chand: I liked the rooms there. The moment I stepped into the room, I felt relaxed — the colours were soothing, bed comfortable and the size sufficiently spacious. The service was unobtrusive and every request was quickly and efficiently attended to. No gripes at all.

OT: Is it a good place to get a meal too?

Unmukt Chand: I found the food very good. The breakfast spread was excellent every single day. I remember having many a cup of delicious coffee at the Verandah. And I would definitely recommend their Indian food to everyone. Also, I still remember the shish taouk I had there. It was brilliant!

OT: The highlight of your stay?

Unmukt Chand: I enjoyed my workouts! The gym is very well equipped and is also a tranquil space. It faces the sea, which made sessions there good fun. The pool deck too overlooks the ocean, offering a beautiful view of Marine Drive. You can see great sunsets from there.

OT: What is the hotel’s USP?

Unmukt Chand: Its location, clearly. The sea-facing rooms easily have the best view in Mumbai. The early morning views, particularly, were breathtaking. Being a Delhi boy, I found this proximity absolutely fabulous!

OT: Do you intend to visit again?

Unmukt Chand: Yes, soon.
