OT: Best holiday?
Neha Kapur: Koh Samui, Thailand. I took a boat to a nearby island, which
had a lovely expat village.


OT: Favourite hotel?
Neha Kapur: I’ve stayed at the Sheraton in Muscat. Middle Eastern hotels are fabulous.


OT: What do you need for a perfect holiday?
Neha Kapur: I need to be free and feel completely in charge of things.


OT: What do you always take with you?
Neha Kapur: I take my notebook, a pen, my glares and I do not take my phone.


OT: What’s your best piece of travel advice?
Neha Kapur: Research well before you go to your travel destination. That way you won’t get lost and will always discover more than what you have read.


OT: Dream destination?
Neha Kapur: I want to go to Australia. The country has always fascinated me. It’s cut off from the rest of the world.


OT: Your worst holiday?
Neha Kapur: London, a few years ago. I didn’t know anyone and it rained most of the time.


OT: Biggest packing mistake?
Neha Kapur: On my trip to the US I ended up taking five big boxes. Once there, due to my shopping, my luggage almost doubled.


OT: What do you avoid on holiday?
Neha Kapur: Parties. I like to read, sketch and relax.


OT: What do you hate about holidays?
Neha Kapur: Having to come back.


OT: Next trip?
Neha Kapur: California, for the Miss Universe pageant.
